Why I launched Native Communication AS

Launching Native Communication has been a way to build a business based on doing what I love: writing. Native Communication has the privilege to serve clients from a diverse range of industries with content ranging from brochures to white papers, web articles to press releases, as well as Q&As, blogs and feature-length articles.

Short, long, complex or succinct, native English content is in demand in Norway, as companies look beyond the Norwegian border for the growth of their business. In addition to content and concepts, Native Communication also supports companies in building their own competence within storytelling, providing workshops and courses that equip executives, communications teams and others with the necessary tools to create more engaging content.

About Me

I spent my 20s building a career and learning-by-doing at Opera Software. It was a start-up at the time, and I simply dove right in, doing everything from media relations to marketing to event management.

I spent my thirties navigating life in a large, global corporation: Telenor. I started as a communications manager and eventually become Corporate Communications VP & Head of Engagement, leading the team charged with Telenor Group´s storytelling, digital communications production and distribution, and supporting global reputation and engagement programs across Europe and Asia.

I am spending my forties building Native Communication. I have long dreamed of running my own communications agency, with the belief that everything I did was working up to this point. This journey has officially begun for me, and I am currently offering communications advisory and content production services to clients including Telenor and Cognite.
